Sharing the incarnate Truth of Jesus Christ Worldwide

ABOUT iALETHIA WORLDWIDE

“incarnate Truth,” which is the foundation of the message that we take to the world.

  • Our Name and Organization

The “i” stands for “incarnate,” relating to what Christ did in order to communicate most effectively the triune God and to redeem man from his fallen state. “Alethia” is Greek for “truth.” Together they stand for “incarnate Truth,” which is the foundation of the message that we take to the world. iAlethia was founded in 2006 and is based out of Dallas, Texas. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, iAlethia depends on the continued giving of individuals to further its work.

  • iAlethia’s Mission & Purpose

The mission and purpose of iAlethia is to provide foundational Bible training for Christian servant-leaders worldwide such that their lives are transformed by the Spirit and they are equipped to communicate Biblical truth with excellence. iAlethia identifies major barriers and breakdowns that hamper international Bible training and designs its material and approach to overcome these constraints. Barriers in training refer to those things that keep training from being conducted in a region; whereas breakdowns refer to those things that cause ongoing training to dissolve. The material is designed and translated so that it can be used across cultures in a missional manner.

  • OUR APPROACH

Common Barriers and Breakdowns in Mission-Based Training

iAlethia has identified seven major barriers and breakdowns that hamper international Bible training and has designed its material and approach to overcome these constraints.

    • 01 Christian leaders around the world have little to no theological training.

Solution: We create curriculum with the mission of taking it to those places in need.

    • 02 If Biblical training is available, the material is not in the indigenous tongue.

Solution: We translate our materials into the languages of those receiving the training.

    • 03 If training materials have been translated, it is typically only workbooks in their skeleton form. The pastors and lay leaders do not have additional Bible commentaries or references to broaden their knowledge base and to aid them in their preparation for teaching.

Solution: We build commentaries directly into our material so that, upon completing an iAlethia course, a person has the additional material needed to review and prepare for future teaching opportunities.

    • 04 Many Christian leaders around the world have never been taught how to prepare and teach Bible studies with effectiveness.

Solution: The material is designed specifically to train individuals in hermeneutics (Bible study methods) and homiletics (teaching methods).

    • 05 Christianity is often seen as an imported faith.

Solution: In addition to translating the material into the regional language, iAlethia seeks to provide a local sense of ownership through featuring indigenous Christian leaders of strong repute within the teaching videos.

    • 06 Christian missionaries cannot gain access to many regions of the world.

Solution: iAlethia ingrains throughout its classroom teaching times that its material is to be used in a missional context by tapping into ethnic migration movements and tent-maker ministers throughout the world.

    • 07 Foreign pastors and Christian leaders have no means to produce and distribute their own material.

Solution: iAlethia seeks to train up others in God’s Word so effectively that they will eventually create material that is focused on the immediate needs of their own culture. We then serve them by placing their material in the same transferrable format so that the work of the Great Commission continues.

  • OUR MATERIAL

Combining the Old with the New

iAlethia aims to overcome numerous barriers and breakdowns in theological training by merging media technologies with solid Biblical commentaries and small group facilitators. The materials provide a foundational exposure to Bible doctrines, thematic overviews, exegetical teaching, Bible study methods, and philosophical worldviews. In addition to this foundational knowledge, the materials aid the student in the development of specific life-long skills: development as a student of God’s Word who can observe, interpret and apply the Bible accurately, development as a teacher and communicator who brings about true life change in his or her students, and, most importantly, development as a follower of Jesus Christ who is a faithful steward of the truths he or she has learned through daily application.

  • Basic Discipleship Series:

Pocket Lessons share a fundamental concept of the Christian faith and aid the Bible study teacher in the preparation process of constructing and communicating the lesson. These lessons are designed specifically for Christians who have limited time for study and lesson preparation yet desire to serve by teaching God's Word. Over a span of approximately five hours, a Pocket Lesson will direct the teacher through the lesson preparation process, moving from class analysis to content study to construction of the lesson to ending with commitment in life application and lesson delivery. Pocket Lessons benefit:

    • 01 Christians who love the Word and desire to pass on its truths but fear to do so due to lack of knowledge, confidence, and teaching abilities.

    • 02 Pastors who desire to build up teachers within their congregation but are too busy with pastoral duties to allocate the time needed for effectively training new teachers.

    • 03 Mission groups with a discipleship focus who desire to follow a curriculum and leave material in the native tongue of the region.

    • 04 One-on-one or small group meetings focused on discipleship.

  • Advanced Training

The advanced training series are comparable to a mini-seminary course. Ideally, students should complete the pastoral training lessons in a small group, classroom environment that is led by a qualified instructor. People who benefit from the advanced training series are:

    • 01 Pastors or lay-leaders who do not have the opportunity to acquire formal theological training.

    • 02 Bible colleges and lay institutes seeking to decentralize their education.

    • 03 Missionaries who need low-cost, transferrable theological training materials in the native language where they serve.

  • Women-to-Women Training

iAlethia strives to honor God’s heart for His daughters revealed throughout His Word and His express command in Titus 2:3-5 by providing training specifically designed for women by women. Whether in a Pocket Lesson or an advanced training series, iAlethia’s Women’s Ministry equips women not only with a theological education but also with those tools necessary to be able to study God’s Word, apply it in their lives, and pass it on to the next generation of women.

  • Statement of Faith

The following statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our faith.  The Bible itself is the sole and final source of all that we believe.  We do believe, however, that the following statements accurately represent the teaching of the Bible, and therefore, all literature produced or associated with iAlethia will be in complete agreement with this Statement of Faith.

We believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God and without mistakes as originally written.  It is the complete revelation of His will for salvation and the only unfailing rule of faith and practice for the Christian life.

We believe in one God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that these three are co-eternal and of equal dignity and power.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His substitutionary death on a cross; His bodily resurrection; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and His personal, imminent return.

We believe that man was created by and for God; that by man's disobeying God, every person incurred spiritual death, which is separation from God, and physical death as a consequence; and that all people are sinners by nature and practice.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins and that all who believe in Him are declared righteous because of His sacrificial death and are, therefore, in right relationship with God.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit indwelling all believers and thus enabling and empowering the life and ministry of the believer.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of everyone who has lived, the everlasting blessedness of those in right relationship with God, and the everlasting punishment of those who have rejected God's forgiveness in His Son.
